xrpld 3.4.0 adds several fields to metadata returned by the ledger RPC method: nftoken_id, nftoken_offer_id and, for AccountDelete, delivered_amount. The aim is to align these results more closely with the tx and account_tx methods.
For developers, this kind of improvement reduces the work required to reconstruct certain events from raw data. Consistent metadata helps explorers, indexers, accounting tools and applications that need to understand precisely what a transaction produced.
This is not a major new economic feature, but it is a useful change for data quality and developer experience. On a network intended to support more tokenized assets and financial applications, the ability to interpret transactions correctly is an important building block.
