Corrections policy
Confirmed factual errors should be corrected as soon as they are identified. Material corrections should preserve the historical substance of an article and should not hide that a change occurred.
Information becoming outdated is not necessarily an error. When later events change the context, an update or a new article is preferable to silently rewriting history.
